Joe’s practice is focused in the areas of Employment Law, Health Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Business Start-ups. He truly enjoys helping clients solve their problems, achieve equitable solutions, and improve business efficiencies. He has significant experience in regulatory compliance concerning health care, employment and labor, employee benefits, and environmental law. Prior to joining Neider & Boucher, Joe worked as Director of Compliance for a Milwaukee area insurance broker, as assistant general counsel for an Evanston, IL renewable energy start-up, and for the Hennepin County (Minneapolis) Public Defender’s Office.
Joe has worked on the buy and sell side of merger and acquisition transactions including several over $250,000,000.

Prior to Law School, Joe acquired a Master of Science in Applied Economics (MSAE) from Marquette ’07 writing his thesis on education production functions in the State of Wisconsin (i.e. what inputs into Wisconsin’s 4th, 8th, and 12th grade settings truly affect student education outcomes). After graduate school he worked as a corporate operations analyst for PETCO Inc.’s headquarters in San Diego, California. He has a passion for healthcare and economic policy discussions, as well as history, science, and technology subject matters. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children traveling, biking, fishing, skiing, and at sporting events.
