John’s practice is focused on business law, health law (including buying and selling practices), employment law and nonprofits. He enjoys the opportunity to be a part of clients’ growth and to be a trusted resource in times of need. Prior to joining Neider & Boucher, John served as General Counsel for a statewide health care professional association. This experience gave John a keen understanding of the needs and pressures of licensed professionals such as physicians, nurses, dentists and veterinarians. As a graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management, John also has a passion for what makes successful organizations tick and how to help companies and nonprofits set and achieve their goals. John has served as outside consultant for multiple associations, from local to national in size and scope, on issues such as compliance, operations, governance and best practices. He also has presented on numerous health care and organization topics, ranging from risk management and privacy to fiduciary duties, respect in the workplace and strategic planning.
